Garsington Opera's new production of that extreme rarity Offenbach's Vert-Vert had its rehearsal room run through this morning prior to moving to Wormsley over the weekend. And it is an utterly charming piece, hugely enjoyable.
My old colleagues from years and years ago, David Parry and Martin Duncan, who are conducting and directing, are bringing this excellent piece to life – a real revelation…
