Ultra Music Festival has tapped deadmau5 as a last-minute replacement after Avicii was forced to cancel his performance for health reasons.
According to Billboard, Avicii has been hospitalized with a blocked gall bladder and is currently being evaluated for surgery.
Coincidentally, several other big name Ultra acts have been hospitalized this week, including Dada Life’s Stefan, who flew back to Sweden for emergency abdominal surgery, and Afrojack, who experienced concussion-like symptoms after falling off stage, according to TMZ…
